Putt Adder: ‘Waiting for a Birdie!’ – Witness the Shocking Moment a 4ft Venomous Snake Slithers Out of the Second Hole on a Golf Course.

GOLFERS were given the scare of their lives by a four foot SNAKE that appeared out of a hole in a golf course.

The Coast golf club in Sydney, Australia has a surprise for any golfers who were hoping to hit their ball through the second hole on the course.

According to Coast Golf’s Instagram, the Snake had a black belly with a red center.

The customer, who was a slithery character, had sought refuge in the hole from the Australian heat.

The two putts were offered to all the groups who were affected by its presence.

The snake passed a few groups before moving on its own.

One fan joked online: “Waiting to see a birdie or an eagle? Or an albatross?”

The second person said: “That birdie is for everyone in the group.”

Another shocked viewer said, “OMG!”

About 35 snake attacks occur each year in Australia.

It is also not funny if you get bitten by one. The venom can cause nausea, vomiting diarrhoea muscle pain sweating weakness headaches urine discoloration abdominal pain and stomach pain.

The venom also has the ability to stop blood clotting, so if you are ever bitten by one of these snakes you can expect to experience heavy bleeding.

There have not been any recorded cases of death from a bite.

The Pebble Beach Pro Am event was the first time that former Real Madrid and Tottenham player Gareth Bale had played competitive golf on the other side.

The 33-year old hit 65 on his first day, and will be competing against Pros like Matt Fitzpatrick as well as celebrities such NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers or actor Billy Murray.
