Top of the Pops: UFC Legend Jon Jones Claims He ‘Heard Ciryl Gane’s Spine Popping’ During Brutal Guillotine Choke KO.

JON JONES revealed that he heard Ciryl Gane’s spine ‘pop’ during his UFC 285 knockout victory.

The UFC legend says he heard an injury during the first of the two brutal guillotine hold.

Jones made his long-awaited return to the sport at UFC 285 in the Main Event.

Many people predicted that Frenchman Gane would give Jones an unwelcome welcome back to cage and heavyweight division. But this is not what happened.

Jones defeated the Muay Thai expert in just two minutes, becoming a champion of two divisions.

When asked about his guillotine hold on Gane he told Sports Illustrated : “I locked up twice.”

The first time I heard his spine popping.

“I gave him an excellent chiropractic adjustment.”

“The second time he didn’t like the same ratchet, so I put my hand on his throat and choked him.

“I didn’t think it would go so quickly, but we wanted to win and dominate.”

After his win, Jones has risen to the top of UFC’s pound-for -pound rankings.

The 35-year old has moved up nine places, surpassing Kamaru Usman and Brit Leon Edwards.

Jones spent most of his career near or at the top of the pound for pound rankings. He could look to reestablish dominance by facing Stipe Miocic in.
